I have a deep understanding of neighborhoods ideal for military families and excel at finding homes that match both your budget and lifestyle. I understand the importance of meeting PCS deadlines and BAH rates.

My husband, a retired Major (U. S. Marine Corps) and the Director of the Mayor's Office of Veterans Affairs for the District of Columbia (2019-2023), brings a wealth of knowledge to my work. Living in Dupont Circle, DC

Living in Dupont Circle offers a vibrant and inclusive urban experience, notable for its status as an LGBTQ+ neighborhood. Steeped in history and culture, Dupont Circle has long been a hub for the LGBTQ+ community, offering a welcoming and diverse environment.

One of the defining features of Dupont Circle is its lively social scene. The neighborhood boasts a plethora of LGBTQ+-friendly bars, clubs, and restaurants, making it a popular destination for nightlife and socializing. From iconic establishments like JR's Bar & Grill to chic lounges like Dupont Italian Kitchen, there's something for everyone in Dupont Circle's LGBTQ+ scene.

In addition to its nightlife, Dupont Circle is also known for its cultural attractions. The neighborhood is home to several art galleries, including the Phillips Collection, one of the country's oldest and most celebrated private art museums. The area also hosts the annual Dupont Circle House Tour, which showcases the neighborhood's historic architecture and design.

Dupont Circle's reputation as an LGBTQ+ neighborhood is further bolstered by its strong sense of community. The Dupont Circle Citizens Association (DCCA) and the Dupont Circle Merchants and Professionals Association (DCMPA) work to promote inclusivity and diversity in the neighborhood, ensuring that LGBTQ+ residents and visitors feel safe and welcome.

The Dupont Circle High Heel Race is a cherished annual event in Washington, D.C., that celebrates creativity, inclusivity, and, of course, fabulous footwear. Held each year in late October, the race sees participants wearing their most impressive high heels and race down 17th Street NW in Dupont Circle, much to the delight of spectators. The race has its origins in a spontaneous event that took place in 1986 when a group of drag queens challenged each other to a race down 17th Street. Over the years, the race has grown into a beloved tradition, attracting thousands of spectators and participants from the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

Overall, living in Dupont Circle offers a unique blend of history, culture, and community, making it a vibrant and inclusive neighborhood for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies alike.
